Why wouldn't that come under "appearance"?

It's certainly not carbs or suspension.

If you look at the picture in my sig of my wife's 850L, you can almost see the lights on the lower edge of the tank.

Here is what they look like when not drowned out by sunlight.

As soon as I can figure out a way to get it mounted on the bike, I'm THERE. Someone did suggest a 'Misty Mountin' Way'....

The winds of change are blowing.....

I'm sure it upset Henry Ford when they started painting cars in colors other than black.

I'm thinking through how I am going to incorporate some lights on my bike. I want to hide them. Probably run them around the inside of the tank seam. I'm thinking of going with white lights instead of a color.

We'll see. Still have to decide on paint.

I don't much care for lights accenting my bike, but this will accent the crap out of the road.

                        It's made by TruckLite.

Fortunately, I didn't have to pay retail. Otherwise I think I'd still be using a SilverStar.

No worse than what some others do, thinking that is "cool".

And, ... it's a lot cheaper and reversible.
