In these dark times
Since i haven't been making updates in a while, my plan has gotten off track in restoring my GSX 750 ES. So it might be first in spring i will get to work on the bike.
I tried to start her up today and succeeded with the half choke with no problem at all. I did however spray some chain oil on the drive chain and checked the tire pressure. Here is 2 pics from today's ride in winter season with +2 degrees
Pictures taken at Copenhagen Airport.

She needs a good round of cleaning, it will have to wait until spring

Yours sincerely

Well you are fortunate to get out for a ride and hopefully you made it out and back with no incidents. Where Gatekeeper and I are its -4C today and while sunny, the roads are a mess with lots of salt, sand and pea gravel to "trip" you up. Besides being way too cold, without heated, gear it's just not safe to ride and that's not even taking into consideration the dolts in cages who've forgotten all about us bike riders.
As I mentioned before, I do regret selling my 750 but I'm attempting to remedy that by swapping my 550 for an FZ750. Not a GS, unfortunately, but it does have about another 25 hp over a GS750
. Gatekeep bought 2 of them as well for his next resto project so stay tuned for some fun and games this coming season.
Hopefully the spring will not be too long in coming and you can get some of your projects sorted in time for the start of your short riding season too.
Keep the pics coming and stay safe if you venture out again this winter.
Cheers,

Motorcycling is my daily transport, since i do not have a car yet.
However, I take mostly public transport in winter, as it is simply too cold and risky. I do not have a nice heated place to put my GSX 750 ES away. It stands outside in the cold at the moment. Maybe i will find a heated place.
The feeling I know only too well. I have previously had a Yamaha XJ 600 1987, which I sold in the summer 2011. I have however regretted, but rediscovered the joy after purchasing my GSX 750 ES.
Cool, an upgrade is always welcome on performance that you can look forward to.
The hope of an early spring would be nice. Usually it starts on March 1 for motorcyclists in Denmark.
I venture out only if I have rated it safe enough to take a trip according to the weather. The pics are coming in spring.
I will look forward to what Gatekeep come up with future projects.Comment
