most of the polish's will leave a residual film, that will protect the part, so all you need is to polish and buff once it starts looking dingy again....

ive used that stuff for chrome on my VW before, workd out grate, thank you guys

Baffles for the PipeMasters exhaust on my CBX.
The one in the front as taken off the bike.
The ones in the back after a 24 hour soak in a mix of toilet bowl cleaner and water and a light scrub. 3 parts water, 1 part cleaner.
