Can't see your pics here at work (firewall), but if the caps are both rectangular (16V engine), then yes - they are interchangable.

I recently did just that on my '81 1100E - changed out the stock chrome cam covers with black ones I bought from a member here...

the black ones look different along the bottom...an indentation there.

I wouldn't bother with them (on my gsx400). I'd look around for some blistered chrome ones and paint them

The billet black stock ones are way nicer than painting the chrome ones. Made my l way nicer. I hate chrome. It's almost all gone now !
