That will work. Did you have a filter on there? I would have a new water filter on and if you can afford it a digital or decent regulator right before the line. Keeping water out and consistent pressure are key to a great paint job. if the compressor kicks on while you are spraying stop and wait till its off again. I usually fill mine, turn it off, then set pressure and spray

Your base coat and clear should be OK if they've been sealed well. You'll know when you stir them up. It's only the catalyst/hardener that you really need to be concerned about. It has a short shelf life.Originally posted by SVSooke View PostWas just a case of not reading the side of the can

 It's Nason brand clear,same 4 to 1 as PPG. The REALLY stupid thigh is I had one of those clear mixing cups.Thanks for telling me about the hardener,that would have been bad.The base(?)is about 2 years old,will it be OK or should I get new?1979 GS1000S,
