    Crankcase cover emblems

    I have just ordered the 2 crankcase emblems "SUZUKI" and "DOHC" has anybody ever replaced these are they self adhesive.I should have mine in 4 days.Conan

    Double sided tape. Peel and stick.

      Is the tape already on the emblems? or if I need to buy some which is the best.I`ve used some from my local hardware before on door bell and was rubbish.Conan

        There is glue already on the sticker. Thoroughly degrease the cover before applying. It will NOT come off.

          I recently did my 750s and added a little gorilla glue to fill air pockets but I don't think it was necessary.
          No signature :(

              Like they said every thing is already in place. Press on and hold for a few minutes.

                CLEAN CLEAN & CLEAN it..... Look for a very small indent for alignment

                    A heat gun works well to soften the old tape. A sharp edge blade, like an X-acto, is good to lift the edge of the emblem so you can pull it off.

                      Since the old one is going to be ruined, start from the inside and peel it off outward to the edge. This will prevent damage to the case. The warmer the engine, the better.
