I got Red Kote on my gas tank (the outside). Is there any way to get this off without destroying my paint?

Put some Gas on it...
seems to work on the inside of the tank for removal if it's the same red stuff I've read about.... I use the POR15 or caswell stuff.
Seriously though - probably only option is to try to carefully sand it off with wet & dry, going to be hard to do without ruining paint...1980 GS1000G - Sold

You might be able to pick it off with a razor ?? If it has any wax on it ?Comment
