Similar question - I'm looking for a flat seat for my 1981 gs450L which has the bump seat. I like the gs450T seats which have a smaller bump - would those bolt in directly? Or something like this cb350 seat:

To both questions, get your seats reupholstered without the hump. Much easier to take away foam material from you seat, than find another that mounts the same.

I have the early flat seat on my '79 which came with the stepped seat, the '80 should be the same.

To the guy with the L, you need to have it reupholstered or something.
