    Cincy painters?

Anyone here in the greater Cincinnati area do body work/painting? Have a gs700es that I want to have repainted factory original. White with red decals. I ordered the decal kit from diablo cycles. Just looking for a close reasonable guy.

Steve has used a guy in the Daytonish area. Send him a PM if he doesn't chime in here.

Yep, he's just around the corner from me. You can see some of his work by clicking on the links in my for my wife's 850L and my son's 650L.

          Hey Steve,

Do you recall the cost to have your sons bike painted?

            Why, yes, I do.

Oh, you were curious as to how much? $400.

Just in case you were curious, wife's bike was $700,
it had more to paint and took a little more prep work.

I would love to paint it myself. I did my 82 550L,rattle can, style. It was ok, sort of half assed it. maybe if I really focused on the prep part of it it would be a whole lot better. I hear the 2K paints are good. Anyone use them? Btw there are ads in motorcycle classics mag for a company that will do "factory paint" for bikes. I filled out the estimate page on their web site, and holy mother of pearl. $1897.88. I just laughed when I typed that number.
