Well I have been slowly changing my 1100. Today I got the powder coated rims that I bought from JWhelan on along with new rubber (Sport Demons). I really like the new look.

I'll say it again - the black rims really give your bike a more "musclebike" look. They really give it more presence!
The bottom photo of the bike without the luggage rack is awesome! I certainly understand the practicality of luggage racks, but any kind of musclebike looks better without one.

The rims came off a 82-83 gs1100e. JWhelan here sold them to me. I have wanted to have black rims for a while now but didn't want to paint my stock one so now I have the best of both worlds. Stock rims with a set of Avons on them and powder coated black ones with the Perilli Sport Demons.
