If you want to actually go bashing through trees and falling on rocks, this is what you want:

Life is too short to ride an L.

Those are nice, but I think I am looking for some of those plastic type that you see on so many of the dual sports...nothing fancy really. Just something that will give you good wind protection and look decent. Fit is important...I have seen some where its just hobbed on and looks terrible. Just wondered if any one had any experience or luck getting such a pair?

        handguards

Hi 520eek, I have a set of handguards from a company called BARKBUSTERS model type storm. They are well made and fit well.

Most people on the Yamaha FZ1 site use the stock Suzuki VStrom 1000. The Wee Stroms don't seem to work. Most are using them to combat low temps not low branches.

I used the tusk ones. If you just want to fend of the wind some KLR or V strom ones would work...

Anybody here reading this have a set that they would part with? Like a klr type set...not the more expensive ones, unless you just want to give them away!
