    '82 vs '83 1100e colors

I know that the '82 came in red or silver, and the '83 came in red or blue. But I'm just discovering that the '82 red and the '83 red are two completely different colors. Is that correct?

My confusion may have stemmed from the fact that when I bought my '82 last year, it was painted the '83 (lighter) red.

I think the '82 silver was called "Champagne." Does anyone remember the other three color names?

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Yes indeedy. That's sort of the theme I'll be going for on my second set of body work.
