Clear powder coat over polished aluminum

Anyone know if aluminum polished to a mirror finish will accept and keep a clear powder coat finish and still look "mirror-like?"

Yes it will. Powder adheres to the metal and the cleaner the surface of the metal, (i.e. polished aluminum) the better. Just have someone with experience do it for you. Home powder coating rigs suck compared to pro tools.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking maybe some clear coats would not adhere to fully polished aluminum well and hoping that maybe clear powder coat might be the exception.
