    Rear sets/Forward Ext

Not sure if this is the right section but has anyone put these on their GS's? http://www.dimecitycycles.com/dcc-or...-controls.html Have a 82 GS1100GL that I am restoring/bobbing out and not a fan of the factory pegs. Also has anyone come across a extension set? Was lookign at Brass Knuckles pegs as another option.

Was looking at those for my bike. Kinda expensive IMO. But tell us how they work out!

They are a little pricey... Just thinking something different and would rather have forward extensions but haven't seen anyone with them.

I haven't seen anyone with what look to be off-the-shelf extensions, but there are a number of chopped GSes around here that have forward controls...most likely custom work.

I was thinking about doing the same when I get my next GS. I like the Tarozzi rearsets: http://www.fastfromthepast.com/servl...--Fixed/Detail

You would just need the linkage kit (they have different bent linkages) and to come up with a mount, similar to the popular CB750 mount: http://www.deadcreekcycles.com/Honda...Kit_p_791.html

Maybe they are not the cheapest things but it would be worth it to me to be able to straighten my legs out more.

If you are interested in rearsets (like using them as rearsets) Tarozzi makes some kits for Suzuki bikes - here is one for the GS1000. I don't know how different it would be for the 1100 or if there is another kit for your bike: http://www.fastfromthepast.com/servl...ootpegs/Detail
