    Installing a Giuliari seat on a GS1000

I just picked up a NOS Giuliari seat for my '78 GS1000, swapped the seat posts and latch over from my stock seat and it doesn't really fit. Is there a piece Im missing? I think it just needs shimmed towards the right side of the bike as it sits VERY tight against the cowl on the left.

Those of you with Giuliari seats, do you mind to post a pic of the underside for me?

    Thanks,
    Matt

It should be a straight fit, original hinges and latch, there is some adjustment movement on the tail piece with the three holes/studs that might be where the misalignment is?
Sorry seat is back to stock but I have two NOS giuiliari seats, one black, one white and both fit and align perfectly.

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.
