    Gas cap cover

Hey everyone, I thought I'd share a little project I've been working on for the 550.

I've been drawing and doodling for about as long as I can remember and started with Sharpies about 6 years ago. I've always wanted to put my work onto one of my vehicles and have finally done that.

This is only the second time I've drawn on anything but paper/canvas (I've done a skateboard deck), but also the first time I've put a design on a curved surface. A challenge for sure. I've got a long way to go before I'm comfortable but am rather pleased with my first attempt.

Sorry for the picture quality...the bike was blocked in and I was too lazy to move my truck!

    Thoughts?

            Thanks, everyone!

I think I'll do the side covers too.

You guys p*** me off. You have more talent under your fingernails than I have in my whole body.

              Seriously, good looking art.

Thanks again guys. It's always great to have people enjoy my art!

alke46 - I'll bet your GS runs though...

eil - I'm thinking I'll do the side covers like this and then paint the tank, seat (cafe style) and headlight bucket to match each other. The tank is currently a really dark navy blue with a some metal flake going on and the seat is black as is the headlight bucket (I assume this to be stock?). Haven't landed on a color as of yet.
