I've used a Plexifairing. They work OK. They did not make the front end of my GS twitchy or unstable, like a similar fairing did on another bike I own. For me, an electric vest is the best way to keep my hands and feet warm.sigpic Too old, too many bikes, too many cars, too many things

This is the shield that came with my GS850G when I got it. I never would have bothered buying one, but after using this I can imagine all my future bikes will at least have one on back-up! The difference in cool weather riding is insane, and it doesn't hinder my vision or make for rough handling. This on is the "Turbo" model
