    House of Kolor Brand paint

Anyone have any type of experience with type of rattlecan? It appears to be a much higher quality (price wise). Of course I would use the 2k clear for fuel resistance. I am almost ready to tackle my first painting project and was thinking 2 cans of this http://www.66autocolor.com/House-of-...pm-s2-0821.htm And couple cans of 2K clear. It would be around $100.00. I realize that prep for painting is 99% of a decent end result. Just wanted to know if anyone had tried the House of kolor stuff...

That Brandywine Kandy looks a lot like 82 1100 red. Keep us posted with how it works.......

How is the exhaust paint holding up, and what did you use?

I used 1 can of SprayMax to do the tank, underseat trim and tail piece on my 78 1000:

Got three good coats of it from 1 can.The $22 that HOK wants seems a bit high,IIRC I paid less than that at up here in Canada in CAD.

I've used House of Kolor paint before. The match is spot on when you provide them with the paint code. The cans work well and spray nice and evenly without the blotching that sometimes happens with cheaper paint as long as you keep the nozzle clear after each spray. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Just to be clear, I don't think House of Kolor sells paint in rattle cans. Some retailers repackage in rattle cans though.

I've used House of Kolor in the past with good results. Never used the rattle can version though. Always purchased through TCPGlobal. They stock the canned version as well and provide good service.

Also, their web site has a video of one of the employees using a spray can of their paint. They claim the spray can job will compare nicely to a spray gun.

I will wait for more input from the gallery here on GSR before I try it though. My bike will be painted hopefully this next winter.
