Wouldn't you know it, handle bars NEVER MOVED. I thought I was going to bend them, rear tire came up a bit. So there you have it, I would definitely suggest these dog bones any day. If you do get some please wrench them down tight.
I really wanted to post that you would likely have a story such as this for us in the coming week, but didn't want to seem pretentious.

Your story doesn't make them safer. I hope they hold up for you.

Yeah, I didn't believe his story, either.

Really? My "story" is a fact. Installed correctly, the risers are a perfectly safe addition with proper maintenance. There is no need to act butt hurt because you were wrong know it alls. Further more, the pretentious attitudes and "you're an idiot" comments are not helpful whatsoever.

                  I wouldn't put those on a bicycle!

I was checking out a bicycle today for a birthday soon, and the clamp wasn't on the ridged part of bar,
                  Guess what?
Yep the bars were too loose/dangerous.
                  ...Have to keep looking.

Bicycles don't weigh 500lb.s or go over 60+ MPH , in traffic...

The ridges on handlebars are just one flaw in that idiotic design.

Not a stoppie. Just a bit for a second.

WTF is your deal? Do you have nothing better to do than troll forums? You should venture outside your mom's basement every once in a while douche.

My "deal" is trying to discourage people from using those unsafe monstrosities. You getting on here and telling doubtful anecdotes about having to make a panic-stop and your rear tire coming off the ground doesn't help matters.

FYI, my mom has been dead for longer than you have been alive, Kiddo. She no longer has a basement.

                              Thanks for the advice, though.

"unsafe monstrosities" is an OPINION, and nothing more. As for my "doubtful anecdotes" it happened. Your belief is not essential, nor really relevant. That is an opinion shared by quite a few members I assure you based on the past few dozen replies you've left on the forums. You troll the forums just looking for a chance to sprinkle on a little douchebag. Perhaps a dash of inner retard here or there. Here's an idea, leave people alone and stop trying to cause problems everywhere you go. Your a pathetic online bully hiding behind a screen. Grow up.
