    Tachometer lens haze removal

    Hi,
    My tachometer and speedometer lenses have hazed up on the inside. I removed the unit but it seems to be all in 1 piece so I can't get to the inside of the lens. Is there a way to get at the inside of the lens?

      Somewhere around here is a tutorial on how to remove the bezel by prying from behind with a screwdriver. IIRC you work your way all around opening up the metal crimp gradually unbending it until you can get it off. I don't know where to find it, but It's probably on Basscliff's site somewhere.

                  Little tip. When you crack them open youll see a paper gasket. I put a thin smear of RTV on each side of the gasket so it seals and does its intended purpose of keeping water out of them.
