    1979 GS1000 Tail chrome trim

    Anyone know where to get the chrome trim that goes around the tail light??

    Truck door chrome trim from Auto Zone. Not spot on perfect but it is pretty decent looking.

      That trim is much sought after. They yellow and crack. And the stainless steel clips on the ends fall off too (and they are not available anymore either).

        When i repainted the body works for my 78 Blue 1000C the trim was crackled and yellowed. The clips were gone so it all went in the trash. Didnt even bother with door trim chrome either..left the tail plain.
