Removing original engine cover emblems from my '77 gs750

having trouble removing the original scratched case emblems. A razor didn't want to get beneath the points cover emblem and I tied heat which made the adhesive sizzle but I still couldn't get the razor under it. I'm stripping the clear coat now but pretty secure they will still be stick on good. Any other ideas

Heat and a sharp blade usually gets it. I'd give it another go.

Yep! After the stripper and wash, heat gave steam which lifted it to pry.
      Thanks!

Gonna sand some of the scratches and powdercoat them. I'll never pay my labor in selling this bike but if I wasn't working on it I might be spending money.

I like the reasoning behind that last post. I?ll tell my wife ? think about the money I could be spending if I wasn?t tied up on this project. However, she?s much smarter than me.
