I was wondering if any one had any ideas on to to clean up these chrome pieces? One of them is fairly clear and reflective but the other is cloudy. These are plastic pieces from my side panels.

I'm not sure if those are mylar or some kind of plastic, mine has 'em too. I've not tried it but when I need some polish for my windshield I'll probably give that a try, makes sense you're gonna want an extremely fine abrasive.2001 Kawasaki Voyager XII (Current bike)

I have not tried to polish plastic-chrome pieces like that. LAB3 probably has the best idea with some very fine abrasive.

Brasso and Pledge is what I use on Chrome, very effective.

That is not real chrome-- it is plasti-chrome -
Use plastic polish / cleaner / wax --
OR Plasti-Dip them to a new color

Thanks guys, did a quick wet sand with some 1500 grit and it worked perfectly!
the dull one ended up looking better then the other so i ended up doing both, now they both look awesome!Comment
