    Massively impressed with those spike strips.
    just re did my gsx seat with new
    seat pan edge trim and added a few bits
    of spike strip .

    amazing ! def recommend.
    Agree mind you must rivet to flat on outside .

          I rebuilt a seat that had totally rusted out, with a new fibreglass base and aftermarket cover (the foam was still perfect).
          Unfortunately, the edge strip was not reusable, so I did without it. That was a mistake.
          The cover lasted well, but coincidental with it pulling through at the front edges, it started cracking and falling apart all over the front half - I'm fairly sure the vinyl didn't like being cleaned with domestic products over the years.
          So, next one I do I'll be using edge trim like that you've got and never using Mr Sheen or Pledge on it.
