Are EMGO bars any good?

I ordered a set of EMGO bars last night as well as a standard style brake MC. I am looking forward to getting rid of these ugly stock bars.

Marking fluid is another possibility. But, never having done the job, I don't know how tight the components fit to the bars and if they might significantly disturb the marking fluid. I am hoping that the pins are at an easy position for marking, such as bottom dead center.

ED. A little wrap of gorilla tape, some inner tube rubber, and even a strip of sand paper with the grit to the bars eliminates them from rotating.

I've never done any of that and I've never had a hint of slipping. I couldn't move them on purpose.

Maybe it wasn't a GS, or it was some kind of off-roading?

Or maybe just eliminate the pin on the housing.

I think I'd rather drill a hole in a $30 handlebar than mess up a multi-hundred dollar control housing. But that's just me.
