Filter assembly GS550

Hello!
Bought my first projectbike a month ago which is a GS550M katana 1982.
It has mostly all components except the airfilter and lid to the airbox. A i understand the filter assembly has part number 1378047040 but is quit hard to find anywere to buy. And the places that sell them is expensive.
Do any of you know if there is another filter that would fit with a little bit of modification to fit the standard airbox?

I imagine the earlier 550’s had the same airbox setup as in the attached pic

theres an eBay item that shows the top……you could probably fabricate one….if you just need top

Are you still looking for a Lid? I have 2 550 Katana air boxes complete, will not be using one. Actually have a a bunch of Katana 550 stuff, bought a few bikes a couple years ago for my project. email ed@supersportclassics.com
