    Jet needle sizing

I'm jetting my CV32 carbs and I'm trying to find out what the next richer Jet Needle would be. Stock they are 5C28, the 1000 and 1100 come with 5D50 which seem like they would be richer but I can't find any info on either. About the only thing I can determine is that they are the same diameter, length and taper I don't know.

If you just want a smig richer, you can change the needle height by reducing the thickness of the spacer on top of the needle clip. All explained in the rebuild tutorial linked in my signature.

I have it at the max, the needle is raised as high as it will go. From 1/3 throttle on it has a flat spot, a stumble. I know it's lean because when I richened the needles it got better but still needs more. I'm leaning on the needles from a GS650E, they are 5C45s which from what I can tell should be richer and have more taper on the lower section of the needle.

Is the bike stock or running pods and pipe? Is the stumble at a steady throttle 1/3 throttle? Or slowly winding on -to and past- 1/3 throttle? Is the jetting stock or is it fitted with a jetting kit?

It has pipes and pods, In neutral it will wick up beautifully its when I ride is if I try to wick it on it flat spots around 1/3 throttle.
