This marvellous forum
And to Ed Ness for his incredibly useful CV Carburettor Rebuild Tutorial PDF...
...My carbs are stipped down, nearly clean and I'm in the process of replacing parts that need replacing.
Shout out to Nessim for his O-Ring kits and Zed1015 for his choke plunger service.
Now then, I've got a question...
You see, I'm keen to buy OEM replacement parts...
...However, when looking at the total of my parts from CMSNL I nearly spat my coffee out.
Hopefully, you can see why from the photo below:

Item: Hose Carburetor Suzuki part nr: 1368349160
GBP 25.35 X 2 = ?50.69
What the hell?
Is this hose made from the tears of Angry Kung Fu Unicorns?
Because ?50 for two bits of hose, approx 40cm in length and 8,5mm in diameter seems outrageous to me.
Like I said, I'm keen to buy OEM whenever possible, but I'm struggling to make sense of this.
What am I missing?
Or can I simply replace it with --> This <-- ?3.60 for one metre.
I'm a total newbie to the world of motorcycle wrenching, so any light you can shed on this would be very illuminating.
Thanks.
Marcus
