    Gs250t air filter, carb tuning

    Hello,

An issue I'm running into that I didn't see to be a problem at first but upon reading the internet it seems there might be reason to get advice from experienced lads.

    Air pods.

I bought a gs250t and the previous owner decided to cut off all the tabs for mounting the airbox and other accessories.

After reading many forums and many solutions people came up with I am leaning towards using the pod filters and restricting the airflow. Rather than attempting to find an OEM airbox.

Can someone clear me up if there are significant downsides specifically about this method.

I don't plan to ride hard, bike is mostly used for riding to work in summers...

Member Zed sells air correction jets, that make tuning with pods much easier than other options. I'm not sure if he has anything for the 250, but it won't hurt to ask.
