Hi all, has anyone put VM26 slides on 1980 GS 1000 engine via adapter plates and was it successful ?

Should work. I've read, but never tried, that slotting the VM26 boots, to fit the later head, works.Ed

Adaptor plates ( if needed ) would have to be made as they are not a "thing" readily available off the shelf.
I made the ones below to allow the use of GSX1000S Katana vm32ss oval bores which are spaced differently to stock VM's.
