Is 10mm aluminum plug critical under base gasket on carbs from 1980 GS 750E, Number 1 carb pulg is missing, don't know if I lost it or was never there to begin with. Is this plug uuaully stocked ?

Yes, it's critical. If you used carb dip, check inside the can for the plug.
The plug is not sold separately. I've harvested them from destroyed carb bodies before as needed. The plug has a taper shape, so not easy to replicate. I may have one somewhere...Ed
