!980 GS 750 Gas petcock
OK my project from hell is all but done., The aftermarket petcock that was on tank is shot. I ordered a Suzuki one from Partzilla that listed as fitting, Nope not even close. All the ones on bay that say fit a 1980 gs750 are 44mm center to center on mounting bolt holes. Mine is a closer to 49-50 mm. This is a Suzuki gas tank Not sure what to do. Every OEM parts lists from different vendors have different numbers then more numbers that say replace this and that.Tags: None

Your bike uses the famous, one year only, 1980 leverless petcock. Lots of them available on eBay. 50mm center to center screw spacing.

That's why prime doesn't work on many bikes with the leverless petcock.Ed
