I just noticed that the plastic nib that guides the slide on carb #1 is broken off. All the other nibs are intact. Is it possible to replace this part? It appears to be part of the carb body and I can't find it on the parts schematic.

No wonder the needle was damaged. It was flopping around in the cylinder. I am surprised that Mikuni would use plastic for the part. I have never seen on like this.Last edited by dubwicht; 08-07-2025, 12:48 PM. -
As it turns out, it wasn't broken off but had somehow been pushed back. I pushed it back in with a round chisel and epoxied the hole. Hopefully it will not pop back out.Comment
