Greetings. Has anyone ever worked gs1150 carbs on a gs1000? Purchased a Gs1000 recently with that setup and has been a nightmare to get it to run properly. Previous owner said it use to run fine.Starts and idles without any issue, no choke required, but is not smooth at low speeds, and breaks up really bad at higher speeds.

The carbs are fine. The issue you are facing is because of the pods. They mess up the jetting.Ed

Also looks like the baffle is missing from the muffler?
That can also make the bike run lean and affect the jetting required.2@ \'78 GS1000Comment
