GS850 revs to 4500~ then pops

maybe i missed something, but im pretty familiar with working on this bike i've had it 15 years and do all the work on it myself. i put new insulators on it, and went through the carbs. before all this it sat in my garage for 8 years. floats are set around 23mm. fuel mixtures are 2.5 out. all pipes are HOT but cylinder 1, and it wants to backfire or pop over 4500 or so. it idles fine.

also if someone see's this that can somehow change my username, please message me.

Sounds like you have a torn diaphragm in that carb

More likely a plugged pilot jet. Popping related to cylinder that's not firing.
