TLDNR- need a set of float bowls for a 1982 GS1100E. Does anybody have a reasonably priced source? What's the part number? What model bikes are common with this?
Background - I've owned this 1100 ("The Beast") for maybe 20 years and am looking to put her back . I've got a bunch of bikes and stopped riding this one for too long. Carbs sat for a couple years with no Sta-bil in the gas. Enrichener tubes in the float bowls were too gunked up to clear, so I threw them into the carb dip can. Life intervened and they sat in that can wayyyy too long. By the time I got them out, all the clear coat was gone, the cleaner solution was ruined, and the enrichener tubes weren't even cleaned out. Rather than messing with them, I'd rather just find a decent set of bowls. I can't find the actual Suzuki part number on the microfiche, but ebay makes me think that anything 1980-1985 GS750, GS1000, GS1100, or GS1150 should work.
