Help! Stripped Mixture Screw Hole
I messed up big time. Stripped the threads in the carb body for the mixture screw. Had to drill them out originally, and I think I clipped them a bit the first time. Was just installing new screws and it just completely stripped. Barely seated it then when I pulled the screwdriver off, the spring just popped it back out.

As I learn how to get Suzy back on the road - I've made a few errors - I have also discovered that eBay and Facebook Marketplace are my friends (not to mention CMSNL).
For example, there is a Mikuni BS32SS carb body for sale here.
But keep in mind, searching on these platforms can require patience, but perseverance usually pays off.
The question is, have the threads gone in all of the carb bodies...
...Or just - say for example - Carb Body #1?
The carb bodies are different depending on what attachments and connections they have.
Good luck. -
The carb bodies are specific to their position.

The only one that's completely FUBAR is the one (if you're sitting on the bike) all the way to the right. As I learn how to get Suzy back on the road - I've made a few errors - I have also discovered that eBay and Facebook Marketplace are my friends (not to mention CMSNL).

And yeah I've considered ebay, but I've had more bad experiences than good when it comes to auto parts there. Honestly I was hoping someone here had one they would be willing to part with. At least here i feel like they would know what they're talking about and I wouldn't get a totally wrong part lolComment

Carb 4 - And yes, as someone who currently seems to be collecting every split diaphragm on eBay, getting bike parts is a gamble.
I don't have any spares.
Half the fun/pain (?) of old motorcycles is finding replacement parts.
Good luck.Comment
