Well my 4-1 yosh came in the mail today for my 550es. I am not looking to purchase a jet kit unless it is absolutely necessary. I figure raise the needles and go up one or two on the mains and adjust the air screw. Any one have any suggestions. Gonna keep the airbox and use a uni foam filter.

I like your plan. It shouldn't take too much to dial it in since you are keeping the airbox. Plug chops would tell you for sure. A couple of links from some guys' website...
