    gs1100 carbs wont flow fuel?

having a duh moment here. Got carbs set up on bench hooked to a fuel bottle. trying to cc the amount of fuel in the bowls............they will not fill with fuel. the single fuel inlet is between the middle 2 carbs,,,,,,,i have checked the float valves..they appear to be working. Do these carbs really need an outside vacum source to fill the float bowls? please help.

Make sure the fuel supply is about the same height above the carbs as the stock gas tank would be.

If that does not work, rap the carb bodies with a screwdriver, the floats might be stuck closed. The rapping will open them.

Vacuum is only necessary to open the petcock. Since you are not using the petcock, no vacuum is necessary.

You can buy those universal hose Ts or taps and they have different size barbs for the different size hoses. If you don't cut them they are solid.
