WILL 400cc CARBS RUN ON 450cc

Hi, I have a set of GS400 carbs which have bigger main jets and a more tappered needle than my 450 carbs, with the mods I have made (performance exhaust, pod filters), I need to run my 450 richer, would the 400 carbs work??

Sorry I don't have your answer but I think the guys are going to want numbers--ie main jet size, etc. That will help them to help you

Hi,

The GS450 and GS400 both use Mikuni BS34SS carbs (for 1980 and newer). The carbs should work if jetted properly.
