    1150 aftermarket exhaust... again

    Hello,

I was looking at the exhausts on my 1150s (Kerker and Muzzy) and they look aged beyond my ability to bring them back. I'm looking for a good aftermarket replacement for them that will let me get at the oil drain and keep my center stand. My usual parts sources all just have the V&H drag pipes that require modding the frame and losing the center stand. I don't need big performance gains or deafening volumes, just serviceable pipes that will let me retire the rusty old ones I've got.

So what pipes should I look at and where are good places to get them? (I'm in the US)

BTW I know that there are threads that hit this topic previously but they are years old and I'm hoping for more specific and timely info.

    thanks.

Talk to posplayr. He's the local pipe expert. (in a good way)

I know this isn't what you are looking for but the V&H sidewinders won't make you remove the centerstand. Ray.

There was a really nasty set of V&H pipes on my bike, chrome rusted through and pits in the pipes. I painted them with VHT flat black after a good wire brushing and sanding. They look more than acceptable now. I would have tossed them in the trash if I had replacements at the time.
