    Hanging idle issue resolved

As my title states, this is just a paragraph to let others know what caused my problem. I put new cams and rockers in my engine in April. Had help with degreeing from Trippivot. Idle would hang at 3-4k coming to a stop. I am far from a mechanic, but I do get lucky sometimes. Took the carbs off for the 6th time just to check the idle mixture screws.I found the rubber orings not in their correct place. The mini washer was on top of the oring squeezed in place by the spring on 2 carbs. Great, I found the problem. Then I was fiddleing with the slides and found #1 was able to be pushed up with my finger! I realized that the set screw on the synch rod was loose and the slide was freely able to move up and down... I eyeballed the slide with the others and put it back together. Wouldn't you know that it idles and runs outstanding...Trip, we are ready for Union Grove Dragstrip.
