so i put the cleaned and jetted carbs on. replaced the airbox with pods, against my better judgement.
put on the new drag pipes from vance and hines. then i ended up getting 2ft of clear fuel hose and vacuum hose, cause it was cheap. adjusted the mixture screws at 3 turns out. idle, set by eye when carbs where off the bike. all this and i thought, hmmmm battery's probably low at this point cause it sat for a week and a half, i better check it. what better way of checking it than just turning her over....lmao turn her over about 1/2 a second and BAM she fires and idles like a fricken BEAST...ohhhhhh man i was stocked, then i looked at the clock and it was 930pm, dooooh no muffler on the drag pipe yet and its nite time here in the cove, all in all the neighbor says " hey it sounds great, can you tune it tomorrow"....lol this things nastyyyyyy...cant wait to tune it and sync the carbs tomorrow after work.....my little 81 gs1100 sounds like a banshee....so fricken happy...ok bed time...
