Intake boots
I hear alot about the how the intake boots cannot be repaired if they break and MUST be replaced. Mine have not broken, but I'm curious why these cannot be repaired? Can there really be NO glues or epoxys that can seal something like that???Tags: None -

The gas flowing threw them will destrey anything you put in there. Atleast thats my guess. New ones are kind of expensive but will last you many more years. -
They age and their chemical composition changes and they get hard
You can't make them pliable again with glue1978 GS 1000 (since new)

This makes sense for old boots, but if they rip and they are still serviceable, I would think they arent as irreparable as people seem to indicate.
Perhaps its not ideal.Comment
