    not getting fuel

I was cruisin the other day about 65 and then slowly my rpm's started to go down. I still had the throttle open, but she just kept decreasing until it finally just concked out on me. I rolled to a stop and started kicking the engine over (my electric start doesnt work ahhh) wouldn't start, until I choked it. Even then it was hard. Got her running, then did the same thing again. It was about to rain and my leg was about to fall off from kicking so much. I finally got her home, slighty perturbed. This came out of nowhere? I could first look at the petcock for starters, but what do you guys think?
...my right leg is sore today

Yeah, pull the fuel line from the petcock (in the PRI position) and see what happens.

Fuel or no fuel. If fuel, check the vent hole in the fuel cap. They have been known to plug. If NO fuel, could be the filter screen in the tank.

Next, pull the vacuum line from the #2 or #3 carb and with the petcock in the RUN position, suck on the vacuum line. Fuel or no fuel.

    Get the idea?
