in theory can you get fuel to cylinder 4 if not getting fuel to cylinder 3?

just what it states. i am not exactly sure how the fuel rail works. i seem to be getting fuel to all the cylinders except number 3 and don't know why. i am gonna pull the drain plug on the number 3 carb when i get home to see if the carb has fuel coming out of the bottom so i know the fuel is getting to the carb. if it is i need to find out why it is not getting past the carb?

That should only be possible with a stuck float or needle valve. The passages between carbs is pretty large, so I doubt any blockage could form that would actually stop fuel.

Perhaps it's time to dip the carbs and make sure they're clean.

remove the whole needle valve from the carb, which includes the needle and seat, a chunk of crap can get lodge behind the seat it self.

Yes, it's possible. Besides the ideas mentioned above, there is also a filter screen on top of the inlet to the float valve that can get crudded over and stop fuel flow.

              ha............ha...haha.

i knew there were some funny guys in here.

i guess every time you start a thread in this forum it needs to start with.....YES, i have had the carbs dipped and cleaned and rebuilt (with oem parts), and put in new seals and then ask your question. If you dont you only get one answer which is do the above.

i am being sarcastic of coarse. i do appreciate the information i have received, but am sorta serious so everyone knows what you have done.
