      Tank For a 1979 1000 E

      Hey
i'm trying to do the same thing, went and bought a 79 1000 L tank from a guy on her... Senior members warned me it wouldn't fit.. guess what.... okay, moving forward. It won't fit on the 2 front indentions, but i'm thinking about a Uncle Martian Fab to fix that. Then maybe a type of sliding bar to bolt the rear too... I bought a 1979 1000 E last month, should say traded my old bike ( 1982 BMW R/65, and cash) for this. Its more his speed , and this is mine... I really appreciate the info here, have been reading the threads, Bass Cliff, and others, so over the winter i will be doing some mods to Yoshimura's Killing Machine .. Pictures to follow.. Thanks, Highlander
