    Carbs

I have run Mikuni 36 mm RS flatslides for ten years. Even with push-pull dual
throttle cables, these carbs will hang up often even under normal driving.
    Anyone know of a fix?

    Sounds like an air leak.

tighten the spring on the shaft..move it to the next bump.
the throttle will be harder but this is what i do as i really dislike push/pull throttles.

        Carb Issue Solved

Found out that the "push-pull" throttle cables are actually "pull-pull"(pull open, pull shut) and the issue was solved by simply taking all the slack out of the pull-shut cable. It now shifts at any RPM like a stocker. After a long time,Yahoo!

          Glad you figured it out.

I'd love to here someone logically explain why people refer to the cables as "push-pull".
