My linkage is located at the right side of the tank (brake side) and the choke cable comes up and runs along the outside of the tank (gs550T) and often gets tugged on with my knees..very awkward indeed (maybe the previous owner put them in the wrong order?
Need some help!!

Yes, that is awkward! If you look at part diagrams on Alpha-sports.com, you'll see what is supposed to be there and where. If you can, take a pic, I love new approaches to cable routing.don't mean to hijack this thread but is the linkage always supposed to be located in the middle of all 4?
