    1980 GS1000e

I have to replace a carburetor, just discovered a broken post holding the float that the previous owner must have busted and wired together. Anyone know what the identifying numbers are for this carb, so I can keep an eye out for a used one? thanks.

Why don't you try fixing the broken post?

search for "float post repair" (use quotes)
